    Guest information Pack

    • On arrival you will find our Guest information pack which contains lots of useful information about Cwm Chwefru Cottages and the surrounding areas together with advice on security and safety issues. Please ensure you read through this at your earliest convenience.

    • The contract for a short term rental will be between the owners (referred to as “us”) and the person making the booking and all members of the holiday party (referred to as “you”) in the following booking conditions, UK law will govern the contract. The contract of hire is not effective until we have received the deposit. The contract will be subject to these booking conditions, and must be complied with. The party leader must be at least 18 years of age at the time of booking and we must receive the address and a contact telephone number.

      Right of Entry

    • We shall be allowed the right of entry to the property at all reasonable times for the purposes of inspection or to carry out any necessary repairs or maintenance.

    • Payment

    • At the time of booking we charge a £100 deposit, the balance remaining will be debited from your credit or debit card approximately 2 weeks before your stay. If the booking is made within 2 weeks of the holiday start date the full rental will be required.

    • Cancellation

    • Cancellations must be immediately notified to us by phone or email. The £100 deposit is non refundable.

    • Number of Guests Using the Property

    • Under no circumstances may more than the maximum number of persons stated can occupy the property. We reserve the right to refuse admittance if this condition is not observed. Any persons other than members of your party must not use the facilities at Cwm Chwefru. Only those guest listed at the time of booking will be provided with linen and towels.

    • If you wish to add to or change any members of your party please let us know.

    • Force Majeure

    • If for any reason we have to cancel your booking in advance due to circumstances beyond our control for example fire, flood, exceptional weather conditions, epidemics, destruction/damage to the property (“force majeure”) you will be refunded the full amount of the booking. If we have to terminate your holiday early for the above reasons you will be refunded part of the booking fee based on the time remaining of the booking. 

    • No additional compensation, expenses or costs will be payable.

    • Period of hire

    • Arrival time is from 4pm – 5pm on the commencement date, *please note reception closes at 5pm. We ask our guests to leave by 10am on the day of departure, this leaves us enough time to get the cottages ready before our next guests arrive. You must not use the property except for the purpose of a holiday during the holiday period, and not for any other purpose or longer period. The agreement to stay in the property for the holiday period does not create the relationship of landlord and Tenant between the parties.

    • Care of the property

    • You are responsible for the property and are expected to take all reasonable care of its furniture, pictures, fittings and effects, in or on the property. You must leave them in the same state of repair, and in the same clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period as at the beginning. Smoking is not allowed in any of the cottages. You must not use the properties for any dangerous offensive or illegal activities and you will not cause annoyance or become a nuisance to fellow holidaymakers, tenants or neighbours of adjoining premises or land. If you fail to observe our terms and conditions we have the right to terminate your booking even if you are already at the property by asking you to leave at once without any compensation becoming payable to you.

    • Damages and Breakages

    • We politely ask that you leave the cottage clean and tidy, reporting any breakages or damage immediately to us, please do not leave this until your departure day as this may cause inconvenience to the next guests. You are legally bound to reimburse us for replacement, repair or extra cleaning costs. Furniture must not be moved from its original position.

    • Supply to Services

    • Guests should note that our rural position means that services such as water and electricity supplies can falter in the event of interruption of supply every effort will be made to restore proper service as soon as possible.

    • Complaints

Any complaints should be bought to our attention immediately so it can be speedily resolved.

Every effort is made to ensure you have an enjoyable and memorable holiday. 

  • Liability

  • Cwm Chwefru will not be liable to you or your party’s for loss or damage to property howsoever arising. You must take all necessary steps to protect and safeguard your personal property.


- The Guest Information folder must be read on arrival and adhered to.

- The cottages are to be left in a clean and tidy manner, failure to do so will result in an additional cleaning charge.


- Any breakages or damage to the property must be reported to the proprietor.

. Cancellation more than 4 weeks prior to start date:

If the cancellation is notified to us more than 4 weeks prior to the original start date, only the non-refundable deposit will be retained. Any other monies paid will be returned to you.
